Metals that ACC can pretreat and apply coatings to include all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, with specialist knowledge of challenging substrates such as stainless steel, magnesium, various aluminium alloys, zinc-plated and nickel plated components.
Our knowledge and experience ensures our ability to coat products from various metal forming processes such as die-casting, sand-casting, machining, pressings and welded assemblies, and with considerations to key factors such as porosity, laser-cut edges, heat treatment, weld areas and prevention of hydrogen embrittlement.
ACC also apply liquid primers and coatings to a diverse range of plastic substrates including ABS, Polypropylene, Delrin and other specialist engineering polymers.
More recently we have expanded our services to include the specialist coating of carbon fibre components. All of our engineered coating solutions are carried out at our Midlands powder coating facilities.
